Raisa Churina is the Director of the long-running PBS series Start Up, where she brings a sharp visual style and a deep storytelling sensibility to every episode. With more than two decades in the television and film industry, including Emmy nominations and international productions, she has built a reputation for capturing authentic voices with cinematic impact. Born in Ukraine and now based in Detroit, Raisa draws on her cross-cultural background and love of travel to tell stories that connect people across boundaries.

David is the Creative Director and Post Production Manager of START UP. He is also a graphic designer, author, illustrator, motion graphics animator, editor, developer, and photographer. David is the co-founder of Parliament Studios and a tireless advocate for veterans issues.

Mark is also an international touring & session drummer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, composer, producer, music supervisor and mix engineer based in Los Angeles, CA
